SOLVED Problem with httpd, mariadb and all other processes

Hello,

it's been a few hours since the VPS that I manage gives me problems. When i tried to open phpMyAdmin i received this error

mysqli_connect(): (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

Later, i tried a reboot and both Apache and SSH were no longer available.

Fortunately i have fixed SSH through the cPanel autofixer script, i can navigate in WHM but cannot restart Apache or MariaDB, neither from WHM nor from SSH.

All other services (Exim, Imap, etc...) are down and cannot restart too.

I tried to rebuild httpd config but with no effect.

It seems some misconfiguration issue.

I appreciate any help.

Edit: now i can't connect to SSH, just can navigate into WHM. I have 256 sshd active processes and after have killed them or run again the autofixer script, the processes are still alive

It looks your mysql service is down.

Please follow below commands to start it.

Restart MYSQL

service mysqld start

OR

systemctl start mariadb

thanks for your reply, i have already solved.

I manage my VPS from the OnApp Cloud panel, a simple reboot from there solved the issue
