I'm trying to run a PEAR installer from a Shell which requires the IonCube extension. I get the following error message:

Error: Failed loading /usr/local/IonCube/ /usr/local/IonCube/ cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

IonCube is installed on the server and my host claims this is a bug within cPanel itself:

"The error appears because ioncube folders are missing in the /home/virtfs folder of the account. This is a known cPanel bug..."

Can someone from cPanel confirm/disprove this? If this in fact is a bug, is there any possibility for a fix in the near future?

    Thanks in advance!

    Best Regards,
