    Hi,
If you have WHM access , firstly confirm that this domain do not exist as an indpendent account already , check account list after doing /scripts/updateuserdomains. If this domain do not exist and you are still getting this error then this domains is entered some where in the dns. First try deleting the DNS zone file for domain 'nxclan.net'.

If the DNS zone do not exist already then you will need to remove the entry manually for that do this :
    vi /etc/named.conf or pico /etc/named.conf
search nxclan.net from the above file and remove it.
    Then go to :
    cd /var/named/
Then delete nxclan.net.db file if it exists.

Once done you will be able to Park the domain successfully.

Sorry if these questions sound dumb, but:

    Whats WHM?
    Whats pico?
    Whats vi?

There doesn't seem to be a named.conf file in /etc and i cant seem to find this 'cd /var/named/' any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply

Its evident that you're not a web host. First, you really should contact your web host for support - I'm sure they'll be only too happy to help you since you're a paying customer!

It may help if you point them to this post since it may help them to resolve the issue for you.

...maybe you should be thinking about getting a new web host! :D

Your web host may have cPanel set to disallow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers. Make sure you're set your nameservers to whatever your web host gave you - DNS changes may take up to 72 hours to propagate.

If the nameservers are already pointing to your web hosts server, then try deleting the Parked Domain, if it already exists under your cPanel. In addition, check your add-on domains to make sure it doesn't exist there, & delete it if it does. Once you've done that, try adding it to the "Parked Domains" again.

If it still doesn't work, then you'll have to wait for a response from your web host.
