problem with putty

    I tried to connect ssh with putty for the first time. I typed in the shell my login and password fine but right after the shell window closed for no reason. I tried a few other times but it did the same, so I could not make any other command. Do you know why ? How can I make it work ?

    Are u sure that the ssh port, username and password is correct ?

    I'm sure about the login and password, but how can I check about the port ?

    ssh is port 22, if you did not have it changed.

    if you have freebsd then you need to login as Admin the su to root
