problem with /scripts/updateuserdomains

We actually are facing the famous missing account from reseller.acct problem and non of the mentioned solutions in the forums are woring for us, the missing accounts have:

proper domain="domain.tld" in /var/cpanel/users
proper virtualhost config in httpd.conf
proper dns zone !

It is interesting to know that if I rename the /var/cpanel/reseller.conf to /var/cpanel/reseller.conf.1 and run /scripts/updateuserdomains it does not bother to create the renamed file!
