well,i have domain.com, with an expired certificate.
i added a subdomain , secure.domain.com (now both have the same ip address), generated a CSR and signed a certificate.

the problem is,whenever i try to setup the certificate, and try https://secure.domain.com it delivers the same content as http://www.domain.com .

now i did change the ip address of the main domain (domain.com) so that i reserve a unique ip for secure.domain.com will this solve the problem ?

and i wonder, what if i deleted the secure.domain.com and added it as a domain and not as a subdomain, there i can add it with another ip address, will this be ok! or do i have to have it on the IP i requested when i signed my certificate on !!!
in other words, can i change the ip address of the certified host whenever i want or this will render the certificate unusable !!!

    thanks in advance.

To usee SSL, every account must have unique IP address.

Delete the subdomain, and create a new account for it with unique IP address, and you should be able to use SSL fror it.
