    Hi,

I have a problem with the daily backup, yesterday the backup is done, but today is not, look I went to the /backup/cpbackup/daily and ls -alh it gives the the date Aug 7 when I ready the log file as below:

    root@server [/backup/cpbackup/daily]# cat /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/1281312001.log
[cpbackup] Started at Sun Aug 8 19:00:01 2010
[cpbackup] Daily Backup is up to date.
[cpbackup] Completed at Sun Aug 8 19:00:01 2010

although the backup config is set for daily backup, if I wait to tomorrow it will work, but after tomorrow it will not

    Please help..

    Sincerely,

check to make sure that you actually have backup accounts checked in you config

no need to wait delete the daily folder (i assume it empty)
    and run

    /scripts/cpbackup

I could not tell you without seeing your config or seeing if there is any errors happening inside your server :(

only other thing to check is the configuration wise "Select Specific Users" and ensure they are all checked
