copy multiple accounts and/or copy account

I have the same problem. I cannot use &Copy an account from another server& or &Copy multiple accounts from another server&.

The only way to copy the accounts is to use &Copy an account from another server with account password&. That is a little bit weird because the transfer is done by ftp, and the root password ins't working for the accounts on the server. So I have to ask my clients for the passwords ...err....
Beside, doing it manually.... not a pleasant task :)

    copy multiple accounts

    me again.

i'm not a power unix admin/user, but, being pressed by the time and didn't wanted to ask our clients for their passwords in order to transfer the accounts with &Copy an account from another server& I thought it worth a try to enable root ssh login.

After searching on the web how the heck I do this, I finally found out (including how to restart the sshd) [I told you I'm not a unix admin] :)

It works like a charm (to copy multiple accounts). It seems you specify the user with su access for nadda :)

Bottom line, you have to have ssh acces on port 22 (not other) and ssh root acces enabled :p

    Good luck,

    Marius
