I have been using the MySQL/MariaDB upgrade tab in WHM to upgrade from 5.7 to 8.0. However it fails and comes with this error:

No repository exists for “Mysql80” at “/usr/local/cpanel/etc/rpm/generic/Mysql80/yumrepo”. at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Repos.pm line 179.

I have enabled mysql community 8.0 through yum but I am stumped on which repository to enable here. Is there some other repository to enable to allow download for this?

must get

Go to
/usr/local/cpanel/etc/rpm/generic/
add new folder name it
Mysql80
then add file inside the folder name it
yumrepo

inside the file type this

[mysql80-community]
name=MySQL 8.0 Community Server
baseurl=http://repo.mysql.com/yum/mysql-8.0-community/el/7/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-mysql
gpgcheck=1
enabled=1
