    Hi,

I give client a shell per request. So after 2 days i will disabled the shell for him.

But when i look on LogWatch that send to me, i saw that this user still can login using sshd :

    --------------------- SSHD Begin ------------------------
    Users logging in through sshd:
client logged in from xxx.xxx.xx.xxx using password: 4 Time(s)
    ---------------------- SSHD End -------------------------

What the meaning of this ? Is it true that my client still can login to shell even i already disabled the shell for him ?
How can i disabled it right ?

Thank you for your help !

    Go on, have a guess
They may still be able to authenticate but the shell throws them out. To confirm whether they can still login, try yourself from the root shell:

    su username
    id

If id returns the details for the root account, then shell access for the username account isn't enabled.
