I tried to get to my named file by using this urL:

    https:xxx.xxx.xx.xx:2087/etc/named.conf (xxx = ip) but i got:

    Code:
The server was not able to find the document (./etc/named.conf) you requested.

You can't access files that way. You need to either use a shell program, or a secure FTP program, and log in as root.

Another option is a custom WHM script. Chirpy has a full fledged "File Manager/Console" for WHM for $15 which can be found at http://www.configserver.com/cp/fmconsole.html and I just finished a very simple file editor script of my own, but it's only available to scripts club members which is $10. My scripts club link is in my sig below. Mine is just a very simple file editor. You specify the full path to the file you want to edit, then edit it using a forms textarea.

I highly advise you read the cpanel documentation at cpdocs.com.

/scripts/fixndc is run as a shell command. You need Putty or SecureFX to run it.
