    I am trying to configure my first server with HD SATA and I am with some problems

    Server
    Linux Red Hat Enterprise 3
    HD SATA
    ---------
    The problem:
    In
    Main >> Server Status >> Service Status

    Disk hda3 (/) and Disk hda2 (/boot) they are disabled.
    If I´m try enable it the WHM I see the following message
    "Cannot Read License "

    I made a research in the web and I discovered that if I add in the grub.conf the following lines I could enable DMA without problems
    ide0=noprobe ide1=noprobe

    My grub.conf now was like this :

    default=0
    timeout=10
    splashimage=(hd0,1)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
    title Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (2.4.21-37.EL)
    root (hd0,1)
    kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.21-37.EL ro root=LABEL=/ ide0=noprobe ide1=noprobe
    initrd /initrd-2.4.21-37.EL.img
    title DOS
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    chainloader +1

    ===========

    If I enable DMA in
    Main >> Server Status >> Service Status
    for
    Disk hda3 (/) and Disk hda2 (/boot)

    will the server stop again? Does some form exist of reverting that in case it happens some problem?

    ==========

    I thank a lot to who can help
