Earlier today I installed a component to my Joomla website on my server. Unfortunately it wouldn't work. I was told that I needed to install and enable SOAP on my server.
I went to Software > Module Installers and installed SOAP.
I then went to EasyApache, left the Previously Saved Config radio checked and went through the process (leaving all of the default values - not changing anything). I got to Exhaustive Options List and enabled SOAP.
I went to Build at the end, it started to build but then errored...Something to do with 'YUM'.7
I googled the error and found an article which was "How to fix cpanel easyapache failed YUM error" (/http://geeksterminal.com/cpanel-easyapache-failed-yum-error/). I followed solution 1 and 2, which were the following commands:
yum clean metadata
yum clean all
and
yum -y update
After those, I tried to run EasyApache again but the same error occurred.
I then abandoned trying to update etc, but it seems to have caused problems for a couple of clients at least.
One client's email account would not work, and when trying to access webmail showed "Server Error (OK)".
Another of my clients' emails seems to be having troubles sending emails now.
Anybody have any idea what could be the problem and how I can fix it?
Kind regards
Liam
