Hello everybody,
I want to buy cPanel, but I have a small paperwork problem :mad:
The company I want to buy this licence for, needs a proforma invoice. That's an invoice-kind who is shipped to us prior of the product. After we receive this proforma invoice, the company can pay for the product via wire check, after that we can have the product and the actual invoice.

Bottom line: without proforma invoice the company can't pay. If we can't pay, we can't get out licence :rolleyes:

Is there anybody who can assure me of a way to get this proforma? Anybody can give me a specific email / person to whom I can escalade this problem of mine? I've mailed billing dep already but all I get are generic-type of answers.
Please? HELP?

A co-worker of mine did. He got a totally unsatisfactory answer from billing dep and I quote:

I do NOT "require an invoice after purchase ". I require a proforma invoice. That is before purchase. After I have this invoice-kind I can have the payment be made. No proforma, no payment, no purchase.

Just to be sure we are talking about the same things, here what a proforma means:

"A proforma invoice is an invoice submitted for payment before delivery of goods or services, (full cost normally) where the buyers payment history is poor, or credit and bank details can't be supplied. Proforma invoices can also be used when the final price is not known but an invoice is needed for legal reasons (e.g. cross border movements)."

Can we have this? Can this be done somehow? Can anybody help me with this? I'm getting real steam from my boss pressureing me to finish this acquisition.

Ticket ref 86793 for any other cPanel staff...

We don't often get requests for proforma invoices. If you look in the agreement documentation that you must sign and send back, there is the IP of the license in question, a description of what is offered and the price of the licensing. If you need information beyond that, please specify what extra is required and we'll see what can be done.

OK, here's what I will do.
I will complete the request for licence found at http://www.cpanel.net/store/. After that, I will mail to [email protected], mentioning the ticket no. (thanx for opening) and requesting a proforma invoice to be sent (prior to anything else) to my billing address used in the above form (together with any other papers you need to send me, if any).
I'll wait for the arrival of the proforma, after that I will make the money transaction. As I already explained in my prev post, I can't pay without that proforma invoice.
If everything goes smooth, next step will be to finnaly have the licence and the actual invoice.
If your billing dep has any problem with my request, they will have my mail and my phone no. They can contact me for any other aditional info or clarifications.
If they are not able to send me that proforma invoice, I will not be able to pay for the requested licence. And probably I will look further for other software, though I very much like cpanel. I really hope I explained my problem to the level that any billing dep can help me and I wait for the necessary papers to send you guys the money :)
