I am not receiving gmail confirmation mail to add an alias (to send email as [email protected]) i guess this error message from gmail:
Code:
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; DNS Error: 1728204 DNS type 'mx' lookup of example.org responded with code NOERROR
1728204 DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of dc-ececc132d2a7.example.org. responded with code NXDOMAIN
1728204 DNS type 'a' lookup of dc-ececc132d2a7.example.org. responded with code NXDOMAIN
I have cpanel credentials, if someone can help I will be really grateful.
I am an intern in this company and may get fired because of this.
Thanks in Advance

Hello,

Based on this it looks like google isn't able to find:

dc-ececc132d2a7.example.org

When it does a look up for an AAAA or A record.

Can you confirm if dc-ececc132d2a7.example.org does indeed have an A record/resolve?

Thank you,

Hello,

Can you confirm that the server is authoritative for the domain, meaning that the nameservers for the domain are pointed to the server? Modificatons made to DNS records need to be done on the server that hosts the DNS records. Furthermore, if the MX record you're using doesn't exist you would need to create it or use one that does exist, mail.example.org, for example, would be a suitable MX record as it already exists in the DNS configuration as shown and has an A record assigned to it.

Once you determine that the server is authoritative for the domain I would suggest either creating the MX record you're trying to use or using the one that is present currently.

Thank you,
