Problems using CGI Center

I tried to insert the gererated HTML-Code for the CGI-Guestbook and the CGI- Counter into the HTML-Code of my website.

No counter nor guestbook show up. Only the generated Html-Code for counter and guestbook as text on the site.

What is wrong? Is the script not working or do i do anything wrong by inserting it the code?
