Hi,

I have update to the latest Current version C454. Now the problem is that when I want to add a new package the page that comes up shows the css and nothing else. I have the same problem with the Mail Queue Manager. It just shows the css instead of the page.
In the cpanel error_log have this error:

Internal Error: "" Normal Connection Timeout (Probably closed browser on a HTTP/1.1 session) at cpsrvd.pl line 1824.

Has anybody else encountered this problem with the latest current release.

Thanks

Ronald

Have you had a trawl through the Apache logs?

I am running fedora 4. I will try to update a server that runs a different distro.

Thanks

This causes me to suspect that your update was not complete. Please run "/scripts/upcp --force" and let me know if that doesn't resolve your problem.

So what exactly is failing here? Is cpsrvd running at the time when the WHM and cPanel are unavailable? Is it just SSL connections (2087, 2083, 2096 ) or the non-SSL ports as well? Is there anything relevant recorded in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log? Why do you have to restart it rather than just let checksrvd restart it (Have you disabled chkservd)? Is your server using Stunnel or native SSL support (Find out by running /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/startstunnel, it will tell you if you are using native SSL support.)?

Hi,

I did "/scripts/upcp --force" and the problem still remains. I tried restarting cpanel and the problem still remains.

I guess I have to downgrade to stable as my resellers are having the same problem.

Thanks

I update the server to release version everything works again.

I did the update on two other servers that is Centos 4.3 and Fedora 3. On the Centos the update went ok and everything works. On the Fedora the problems are the same as on the other fedora.

It seems like the update has a problem with fedora.

Thanks

Ronald

The problems only concerns th SSL ports, all serices on the non SSL Ports are running fine, here some snaps from the error_log:
PHP:
Internal Error: "" Normal Connection Timeout (Probably closed browser on a HTTP/1.1 session) at cpsrvd.pl line 1824.

And this issue is still occurring with the latest builds (build numbers 460+)?
I just updated to the latest current version and the problem is still there in https but when trying http there is no problem at all.

So if you login in https mode you have this problem only with fedora.

Thanks

I have updated to the latest current version C467 hoping that this problem would have been resolved but it is getting worse as now even cpanel shows blank pages when you are logged in ssl. You can only use the port 2082 for cpanel and port 2086 for whm.

Has anybody found a solution for this problem?

Thanks

Ronald

Hey

Im getting this same problem on my cpanel as well :(

WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-C467
CentOS 4.3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

just restarting cpanel seems to "fix" it for a bit.

I have opened a ticket with cpanel, so I will post their solution here once they work on it.

cheers
