problems with charset

    I can't access any of these web sites. I get "The page cannot be displayed".

    It's to do with the character encoding. It's not clear which site is on which server, but the site where you get the funny characters probably has 'AddDefaultCharset' somewhere in the Apache config.
    Remove it and restart Apache and see if that solves the problem.

    BTW, both the pages have META tags that describe the charset as being iso-8859-1, which is probably not what you want. (Try UTF-8)

    http://www.apocalipsis-design.com/dawliz/rabat/fr/presentation.php is on the new server ho is centos and cpanel... and we want to make backup from the other hosting who us directadmin and we dont want to change de code of the website, but we want that is rllz good in our server.

    can u explain me how can i make it good.

    I am oussama !

    the problem was the data base that is a backup from mysql 4.1... and with charset UTF and we use in the new server mysql 4.0.25 with iso... bubt we use know one utility for to change mysql charset to iso and upload it to the new server.
