    Hello,

We just moved from Red Hat 9 to Trustix 2.0 es.

I've received any eMail from the server

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (srv1.omtools.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 65.183.204.254. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
    believe everything else is correct.

    You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager

    ----

When I attempt to Add an A entry for the hostname (from whm) it says

IP=65.183.204.254 Bind reloading on srv1 using rndc zone: [omtools.com] Error reloading bind on srv1: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found Add Complete

    -----

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Our CPanel has been changing our /etc/hosts file so the hostname points to the wrong IP address. It keeps doing this every day for the past week every time we fix it - it undoes it. This is very annoying, and I assume it is a new bug in Cpanel.
