Problems with dns zone of account, domain resolving to default page.

I have a cloud server. The problem is when I create a new account, normally the domain pointing to the server, but does not point to account.
For example: the external ip is 177.70.10.70, the domain "tomitseventos.com.br" is being directed to the root but the correct would be for 177.70.10.70/~tomitsev. If I change "A" entry in the dns zone of tomitseventos.com.br for the default ip created by whm(189.113.11.165), when i ping tomitseventos.com.br its return "Destination Host Unreachable". What's wrong?
