I am running the latest whm/cpanel on Centos4x. The hostname is and I purchased a new ssl cert for that hostname. I have installed the cert from the whm ssl.tsl section but had to use the owner as "nobody" since a warning came up about "domain is not configured on this machine" and I didnt know if I should create a new subdomain under so just installed the cert as "nobody". However, if I go I to https:/ I get an error about invalid cert " uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for". So it looks like its trying to use the cert for the domain? My goal is to use this new ssl cert for people accessing and I have been trying to follow the instructs from the thread at the url below

How can I add my own/new ssl cert so that all hosted domains can get to cpanel or secure pop etc, without any invalid cert messages?
