I am running the latest whm/cpanel on Centos4x. The hostname is serendipity.mountainhosting.ca and I purchased a new ssl cert for that hostname. I have installed the cert from the whm ssl.tsl section but had to use the owner as "nobody" since a warning came up about "domain serendipity.mountainhosting.ca is not configured on this machine" and I didnt know if I should create a new subdomain under mountainhosting.ca so just installed the cert as "nobody". However, if I go I to https:/serendipity.mountainhosting.ca I get an error about invalid cert "serendipity.mountainhosting.ca uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for www.mountainhosting.ca". So it looks like its trying to use the cert for the mountainhosting.ca domain? My goal is to use this new ssl cert for people accessing http://www.domain.com/cpanel and I have been trying to follow the instructs from the thread at the url below

    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=65672&highlight=invalid+ssl+cert

How can I add my own/new ssl cert so that all hosted domains can get to cpanel or secure pop etc, without any invalid cert messages?
