    Hi folks!

    I'm having a heck of a time delegating a split CIDR that's been pointed to my nameservers; being that it's running under CPanel, I don't want to break it.. much.

    First, I'm running stockish bind 9.2 under CentOS:
    % named -v
    BIND 9.2.4
    %

    I have, say, 192.168.0.65/27 pointed to me, and I've created a master zone as follows:

    Code:
    zone "65/27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa" {
            type master;
            file "/var/named/65_27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa.db";
    };
    In this file:
    Code:
    65/27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN SOA my.nameserver.tld. root.my.nameserver.tld. (  2006080207 10800 3600 604800 3600 )
     IN NS my.nameserver.tld.
     IN NS 2nd.nameserver.tld.

    65 IN PTR host.domain.tld.
    Wether I set $TTL, hard code it, or even hardcode my record before IN NS
    ( 65/27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN NS my.nameserver.tld.), bind ALWAYS complains that it's not at the top of the zone. I'm at my wit's end here. djbdns is starting to look mightyfine..

    Code:
    zone 65/27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa/IN: loading master file /var/named/65_27.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa.db: not at top of zone
    Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    [Edit: corrected typo .]
