    Hello,

last couple of days we've had problems with running up2date on our server. RHEL 4 and now this morning we keep getting this error:
    Code:
    up2date --list
There was an SSL error: (104, 'Connection reset by peer')
A common cause of this error is the system time being incorrect. Verify that the time on this system is correct.

we verified the server time is correct. it seem to be working yesterday after noon for a bit, but now this morning we can't get it to run.

any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

    TIA,
    Mickalo

Not a cpanel issue. It's a rhn issue.

Is it only one server that is having this problem? Have you got a current rhn subscription?

I release this is not a direct cpanel issue, but though others may using cpanel may have had this problem. I have contact our Datacenter to investage. It has been working fine for months, and yes we do have a valid registration. This problem started yesterday.

Do you know what the fix for this was.

We've got the same exact error with up2date on about half dozen servers. I can't update Apache as a result.
