Anyone is having issues with this release? Since I updated the server to this release the load has been high all time above 7, causing stats process crashing.

I would like to hear comments.

Do you see what is causing the load issue. Just the load spiking is not enough for us to troubleshoot this. Can you possibly post the output of
    Code:
    top -cd1

All of these started after I upgraded to this release version.

When I upgraded to this the load issues started. I noticed that exim was updated to 4.68, I dont know If you did some other changes, maybe some bug somewhere is causing the load. I dont know.

Look what I found, Dont know if this can help or if it´s causing the high load, I´m seeing this error that is repeating each second at /var/log/messages

Sep 17 16:23:32 server1 kernel: hdc: ATAPI reset complete
    Sep 17 16:23:32 server1 kernel: hdc: status error: status=0x20 { DeviceFault }
    Sep 17 16:23:32 server1 kernel: hdc: status error: error=0x20LastFailedS

at server information I have this (notice that centos detects sata drives as cd drives)

    Physcial Disks
    hdc: SONY CD-ROM CDU5225, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
    hdc: ATAPI 52X CD-ROM drive, 96kB Cache, UDMA(33)

Is there a way to correct this??

    Thanks

I cant tell you exactly what is plugged into HDC it is the master on the seconday IDE channel however. The error probably has nothing to do with the load, the load appears to be related to apache and not to cPanel however. I suggest looking over your users usage.

ok, but what could be causing that error at /var/log/messages ?

the main drive and backup drives are fine cause I can access to them.

You will need to have your system admin/datacenter look into it. It could be anything from a cd-rom drive with a bad disk into it to a hd that is failing to a HD controller that is reporting back improperly.

system became stable after commenting /dev/hdc line at /etc/fstab.
    Now load is 1~2 :D
