    Hello,

I was wondering if there was a easy way of installing proftpd and mysql authentication. When I switch from pureftpd to proftpd I see that is is going out and getting the rpms from a different source than what yum uses.

    Anyone have any tips?

We provide our own RPMs for Pure and Pro FTPd. To do what you want to accomplish requires either recompiling from source or using the RPMs provided by your OS vendor. The OS Vendor route necessitates disabling ftpup.
