proftpd.conf ,can i edit it?

    hi, i need to edit proftpd.conf for FTP of my server, but witch proftpd.conf can i edit? i found a lot of proftpd.conf:confused:

    i think if you log in as root to ur server and type "pico /etc/proftpd.conf" i will let u edit the file u need to edit.

    If you use pico, please make sure that you use the -w qualifier or you could really screw up your configuration files.

    If you do modify /etc/proftpd.conf, you need to remember to stop and start the daemon again.

    Thanks, this is a old topic, i know how to edit this file now, and i add a lot of functions in proftpd.conf, like limit speed, limit files type, etc :D
