How do I create a ftp account and append the domain name?

eg. [email protected] instead of using only the username

It always endup user : passwd instead of [email protected] : passwd

Please help me to solve this.

Ok I solved this issue by my self .. some of you must to make sure that this file /etc/proftpd/user doesnt have [email protected] because when it sync it will write to /etc/proftpd/passwd.vhosts to [email protected]@domain.com and that is why most of them cant login via [email protected]

I am still getting the problem. My users don't have mal-formatted names in the vhosts file...

What else could it be?
