from what I am told and what I have read by many seo's is that search engines have so many sites to prcoess that they can not identify www.domain.com and domain.com as 1 site. 90% of the sites out there are setup with dual host headers.

So would there be an easier option rather than setting up 2 sites in the future with cpanel? Perhaps auto setup of domain.com with a 301 redirect to the main site?

Appreciate anyone who knows SEO input on this topic.

    Thank you

well, in the case of cPanel, www.domain.com is merely an alias of domain.com, so it shouldn't really make that big a difference

    I already understood that.

Its the same way with other control panels as well.

However again www.domain.com and domain.com load as www.domain.com and domain.com one does not get forwarded to another. So each is really treated like its own site and therefore the pagerank will be split between them.

You can also google dicusssions on the same topic as well.

Interesting. Maybe that's why I have a glass ceiling on my page rank.

Well maybe that and lack of content. Most websites say "webhosting" say lots of keywords, spend money on adwords but other than that offer no real content to the users.

    Content is king nowadays

Lots of reading on this topic, but I'm pretty sure this one has nothing to do with cPanel.

No that has nothign to do with this topic. The crawler simulator has to do with how the spider navigates through your website. Often people have javascript/flash menus which the spider cant navigate through.

You could also use the lynx browser on a linux computer if you can go through your website in lynx then the spider will be able to see it.

However this topic again is about the fact that since 2 sites share same content it sees it as 2 websites..
