public_html and www directory disappeared !!!!!!!!!!!

    the www and public_html directory is gone. but what happend to the public_html and www ?

    Could you please tell me what could cause this and whats the solution to bring it back ?

    you or someone in the server must have deleted it. If you run backups it shoudln't be a problem to replace it.

    i make anew public_html after awhile its gone agine !!!!!!!!!!

    what is the prolem?????/

    how can i make anew www dir ??????

    "www" isn't a dir ..it's just a shortcut system link to the "public_html" dir.

    It sounds like you have a user that has access to your account and they are playing games with you.

    Do you use FrontPage? If you publish your site to ftp:// frontpage will ask you if you want to delete files that are not in the current web. If you click yes it will delete your public_html. I have clients do this all the time.
