    Per the WHM message a while back about switching from proftp to pure-ftp, I made the switch.

    However, I cannot seem to locate the log files that used to be xferlog with proftp.

    Where can I find the server log files or domain log files?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yeah i had the same problem.

    I wanted to keep more documented logs anyways, so i added this to my syslog.conf

    # pure-ftpd
    #ftp.=debug -/var/log/ftp/debug
    ftp.=info -/var/log/ftp/info
    ftp.=notice -/var/log/ftp/notice
    ftp.=warn -/var/log/ftp/warnings
    ftp.err /var/log/ftp/errors

    by default your pure-ftpd.conf should be set to

    SyslogFacility ftp

    I added the lines above to syslog.conf, restarted pure-ftpd also checked that the line was correct in pure-ftpd.conf but i still dont get any logging!

    Just stating the obvious - you did restart Syslog too didnt you? That was the mistake I first made when making this tweak ;)
