Pure-ftpd commands

    With proftpd i could do a LIST -AL through my ftp client. What can i do to show all the files starting with . though pure-ftpd? LIST -AL doesnt work and i need to be able to see my .htaccess files. Thanks.

    It all depends upon the startup options used:

    -X : users can't even *read* or *write* files and directories beginning with a dot
    -x : In normal operation mode, authenticated users can read/write files beginning with a dot ('.')

    Oh... I know that proftpd was kind of like that, but with a special command via the ftp client you could make it show you the hidden files. pure-ftpd isnt that way? its either it shows them or it doesnt?
