    Hello,

Some users don't have large files but upload thousands of small files. What directive would restrict the number of files per upload? If no directive is relevant then please suggest other solutions.

You can limit the number of connections of course, but that's no help really, the extra connections will time out and they'll reconnect over and over anyway. And then probably send you an email wanting to know why they keep getting disconnected...

New Users always seem to want to drag and drop entire directories of whatever. That is, unless you spend some time educating them to upload a zip file instead, (FTP or File Manager) and then extract it on the server with the File Manager. That's what I always suggest. It's quick and easy, most people like quick and easy. :)

cPanel's File Manager has come a long way over the years and should be promoted a bit more to those users who like to upload directories of files.
