Is there a master log for pureftpd that shows everyone who has logged in via ftp over say the past week ?. I used to check xferlog for proftpd but I dont see anything in it or doing a "last" from the console.

/var/log/messages does show you who was logged in via Pureftp but it will show you the source IP and not the specific user. And "last" command shows listing of last logged in users to server via ssh.

    Go on, have a guess
The only other place apart from where Shekhar mentions, is the collated per domain logs in /usr/local/apache/domlogs/ftp.*
