Some of my users have our cPanel email forwarded to another account like live.com.

While they manage their own deletions in live.com, it leaves their cPanel account accumulating old emails till it max's out.

It appears cPanel removed the feature to delete old emails automatically. how can we best deal with this situatoin?

Hello :)

You could manually delete the email files from:
Code:
/home/$username/mail/$domain/$email-account/cur
/home/$username/mail/$domain/$email-account/new
Then, going forward, instead of using a forwarder, setup a user level filter with a rule to redirect the email sent to the first address, and then have an additional rule discard the message.
