The history of user_notifications emails sent - is there a retention setting in WHM for this specifically or the timing coincides with log rollover? Or not controlled at all at this time ? Safe to delete manually ?

looks like it rotates every week or so
    /var/cpanel/user_notifications/username/history

folders should me no larger than few k our largest is 272K so I don know why you would want to clear them manually unless they are extremely large

    Hello,

Additional information on this topic is available under the "Comments" section at:

    Limit size of /var/cpanel/user_notifications

Could you let us know if you are having trouble with the size of the user_notifications directory? If so, could you verify which version of cPanel is installed on the system?

    Thank you.

The space used is small, but some of those emails date back 1.5 yr.
What do I check to verify the rotation schedule for these ?

Its not the big long file names causing a problem with deleting is it?

Would you mind opening a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look and determine why it's not removing files older than 10 days? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.
