Hi,

After upgrading to cPanel 11 I have a enormous amount of the following log file entries

Code:
Cp-Wrap[13850]: Pushing "47 GETDISKUSED user domain.ext" to '/usr/local/cpanel/bin/eximadmin' for UID: 47
Cp-Wrap[13850]: CP-Wrapper terminated without error
In case of one server, the amount of lines with this error is 471 pages (when printed; no I didn't actually do that ;)).

Not all servers with cP 11 have this much entries. Some have a few, others have none

I have searched for an explanation, but haven't found one so far. One suggested it has to do with full mailboxes, but that is impossible (because there are only a few mailboxes full on this server). I also read that it has to do with writing exim stats/imap, but that doesn't explain to me the amount of log file entries on this server, and not on others.

So, primarily I am looking for an explanation and am not to fix an error, because I don't think we have one. Does anyone really know where these entries come from?

Same Here...

We're running CentOS.

Logwatch is showing up nightly with hundreds of these entries.

This is generated any time it cannot read the quota file @ smtp time. It has to use the wrapper to read it for it because it does not have enough privs. This is perfectly normal.

Hi Nick,
Is there a way to fix this? I get this errors everyday on my logwatch for almost all the accounts in my server.

My OS is RedHat.

Sergio

Its a known error most likely fixed in Current or Edge releases but not v11 RELEASE... has to do with the "Reject email at SMTP time for users who have exceeded their quota rather than keeping it in the queue. This is probably a good idea, but it does mean people will lose mail so its not on by default." and CPanel not being able to read the Quota...

Nick a fix would be nice though cause it causes me some nasty 10MB daily logs from logwatch... ;)

This is printed because it is doing a setuid to find out this information. This is something that you need to know for security reasons.
