    Working on installing APF

    I get a iptables QM_MODULES error.

    root@earth [//etc/apf]# apf -s
    lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

Unable to load iptables module (ip_tables), aborting.

Ive done alot of searching on the forums and cant seem to find any threads related.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Zach

Try with the mono setting to 1 then get

    root@earth [//etc/apf]# apf -s
    lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented

I did up2date -f kernal and the kernal is updated already.

If I locate iptables I see a big directory listing with iptables.

There was no need to edit grub because up2date did not download a new kernal, I have the latest.

Even with this error looks like APF still works, did some testing.

    Thanks for help.

    Time for bed!

    If you get the error:
Unable to load iptables module (ip_tables), aborting.
then your kernal is compiled with iptables statically instead of as a
module, and you will need to change this in the conf.apf
    MONOKERN="0" Set it to "1"

the QM_MODULES error is caused by a stuffed module init tools.

im not sure where you can grab it. grab and install it. it'll fix that error.
