    Hi,

One of our client running vbulletin form and after I have enabled the option in whm, originator is receiving following mail as return message. Mails are not sending from forum, how can I make registration email to send? Thanks in advance.

Mail sent by user nobody being discarded due to sender restrictions in WHM->Tweak Settings

You probably need to un-check this box under the "mail" section in tweak-settings

Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.)

    Go on, have a guess
Make sure suphp is selected as the php hander in WHM > Configure PHP and SuExec

WHM only offers me either cgi or dso as PHP 5 handlers, but also says Apache suEXEC is ON. Should there be something else under handlers?

At present dso is selected. I have no idea why - it seems to be a default from upcp or similar.

Have you run EasyApache with checking the box for SuPHP?

I too have the same settings as wemail and haven't changed to suphp because I'm inexperienced with server management and quite frankly I wouldn't know what to do if it was a mistake to change over to suphp.

My question however is: what is the difference in using dso as opposed to cgi with suexec? If I change to cgi will it cause me concerns?
