I have a VPS with about 10 addon domains (all controlled/run by me). For one of them (addon.com), I need an SSL cert. I understand the basic process is to backup addon.com, delete the addon, get new IPs, create a new account, and then restore the addon files at newaccount.com.

I've previewed the WHM panels to get a sense of what I need to know/do. One thing I am not sure about in the new account creation is the section:

    Reseller Settings
    Make the account a Reseller
Owns their account (they can modify their own account)

Do I need to make it a Reseller account in order to get a new cPanel (required for the SSL cert)? Since I'm not really "reselling" but just creating an environment that permits a dedicated SSL cert I was sure what was the best thing to do here. Thanks much.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it didn't need to be a reseller account but didn't want to make all the changes only to have to do them again. (Thanks for the link too.)
