Question about *db files

    hello

    i deleted the files db files in /var/named/

    how could i can restore it ?

    what i want is how can i recreate the dns zone files again for all my accounts in the server

    note : i have whm/cpanel running on centos box

    Root Administrator
    If you take backups (with WHM) you can find inside the folder cpbackup/dirs the file _var_named.tar.gz . All the zone files are in there. Don't forget to change ownership (if needed) to named:named ;) .

    Root Administrator
    If you don't have a system backup, you'll need to recreate them. You can use the link in WHM called "Add DNS Zone"
