Question about Dedicated

    I hope this question is ok here

    if you had these to chose from these which would you pick? lol

    1.) AMD Athlon XP 2000

    2.) Intel Celeron 2.4

    3.) AMD Sempron 2400

    It depends on what you need:

    For Server infrastructure i must admit i'm quite favoured towards Intel although AMD is quite decent. I would not settle for anything less than an AMD Opteron (as it's built for server usage).

    Otherwise the Celeron is probably the cheapest and it isnt bad. I would probably go for the XP 2000.

    What are you planning on using it for and what userload is it expected to handle?

    I don't go for celeron, not an expert advice, just from my experiance, my Cel 2.4 goes down always. May be due to clients run some scripts that create the problems.
