Hi all,
i have a question, i wanted to see if someone know a little more about it. We are working in set DNS cluster and i have the doubt about what happens with duplicated zones.
The configuration is: all the Web servers syncronizing changes to all the DNS servers. Till here all fine.
Lets think the Web server "a" has the domain "domain.com" and this sends the zone to the nameserves. If some user adds the same domain (domain.com) in another Web server (server "b"), as addon domain for example, this will create a zone in the Web server "b" and is going to make conflict with the original zone in the DNS servers, is this right?
In a single standalone server (no cluster), this is not possible because the zone exists in the server and you can't add the same domain, but in this case doesn't exists in the server so, idk what happens....
Have someone this point a little more clear than me? I am not sure what happens with these zone in the dns servers, if is changed, if is not changed, wich one stay there, or what.
Any help is appreciated,
regards.
