Question About Feature Request Comments

I tried to post comment to feature request which is in my opinione very, very important.

PHP-FPM enabled by default on account creation

My comment was:

"Easyapache 4 is unusable at this time. Many of my customers want php per domains settings, but I can't give them this. My competitors have fastcgi with DirectAdmin and can give php versions per domain to his customers.

suPHP is not the answer at all. We were used suPHP 4-5 years before ..."

But my comment was declined.

Is censorship in cPanel feature request ?

The second thing - I posted new thread about this Feature request in general discussion forum, but it was mooved by administration to another category, and they changed the topic of my post. It is not professional, I think.

Your original title was inappropriate and was edited, by me, to be more specific to your thread, and it was moved to the appropriate forum as well. We've been moving threads and editing titles to be more specific, forever on these forums.

That's not censorship , that's making the forums work better and be more usable for all.

My post was about overall problems with modernity of cPanel. It was NOT technical problem with EA4. It was about CONCEPT.

In this case your comment was declined as a result of your mention of DirectAdmin. The feature request site is a great place to discuss why you would like a request to be implemented or how specifically you would use it if it were in place, but I try to avoid any discussion that directly references a third party software (competitor or not), since the feature request site is focused on our software.

I edited the title that complained about cPanel "losing market share". That title was inflammatory at best. It served no real value, it was a rant title, and it was replaced.

I could not understand, that You fear at the mention of DicertAdmin. My idea was very clear: in DA there is done implementation which is waiting from 4 months in cPanel and still in "maybe" status. And it is VERY IMPORTANT.

Once again: suphp and CGI is very poor solution for mass hosting. We don't use suphp since several years. We have rescued couple of customers they have EA4 and changed his PHP version and they miss automatic disabling FPM. And the dedicated server DIED becouse hunderts of CGI processes. It sucks.

You don't serve hosting to customers. My customers are using such argument. In "other company they have DA and all works, why it doesn't works at You. Though You said cPanel is better than DA, but what now?".

It was the only reason using name of DirectAdmin.

But I was censored. Two times (the first time was about month ago). And now You disabled coments at all ... pathetic.
