Question about Memory Usage?

    Question about Memory Usage?
    I have a server wtih cpanel & whm(licensed) and i have 2gb ram. I recently just got the server and always after 1 day 90% of the memory is taken. How do i fix this?

    There are several reasons for the memory to reach a high usage. One important thing is to determine what processes are consuming such amount of memory.

    Via WHM go to System Health > Show Current CPU Usage and sort the process list by "CPU %" and by "Mem %" to see whuch of them is doing the more intensive usage.

    Also, go to SQL Services > Show MySQL Processes and see if there are several items (>10) "sleeping" or if there are anyone from another host (not localhost).

    i added the memory up and i only got like 35&.
    Also this is a brand new server no hosting accounts have been setup on it yet.

    ok, but this is of no help without viewing the data showed in the screens I mentioned in my last post. If you can kindly copy and paste that data, some help/ideas may appear ;)

    That memory usage looks fine. You're not using any swapfile space and the majority is being used by the cache which is how Linux should be configured.
