Question About Remote Mysql

Hi :

we have any High Cpanel busy server , That like to move mysql to remote server .
I want know is it good idea ? is it reliable ? maybe website speed decreased after moved database ?
our Mysql server locate same datacenter that Cpanel server .

The answer to those questions depends on what type of hardware you would use for the remote MySQL server. There's no way for us to truly estimate how it would perform.
