Question about /scripts/mysqlup

I had a quick question about the mysqlup script. Recently a new version of MySQL was released (5.0.45). We're currently running version 5.0.24. I've run /scripts/mysqlup to try and do an automatic update of MySQL, but every time I do, it just says that 5.0.24 is the current version and we're up to date. Yet according to the MySQL website, 5.0.45 is the latest version.

Is there a way to force the mysqlup script to take a different version number and update it? If not, is there something in the cPanel settings I can change to make it find the new version number?

Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Anyone? This is becoming a bit of an urgent matter, as some of our hosting customers are requesting we upgrade to the latest version.

Since this is an urgent matter fo you, and yet not support by the cPanel, you can upgrade MySQL to the version you want, manually.
