Question about send_anonymous_usage_data

Hi,

I sometimes find this /scripts/send_anonymous_usage_data running, and the script seems to send some data to anonusage.cpanel.net. Can somebody enlighten me about what is this script really doing? Is it some kind of spyware, like "error reporting" in M$ Win?
