Question about Simple DNS in account creations

Hello,

I am currently having a problem with sites going up and down every few hours so I was wondering is there something supposed to be created in the Simple DNS Zone Editor.

When an account is created under the simple editor the following shows:

There are no user-defined zone records


Is something supposed to be auto created there or is this normal and if so is there a reason sites would keep going up and down like that?

Hi,

How many name servers do you have? Its recommended to have only 2 nameservers and they must be resolving to same server.

If they are on two different servers, there may be such issues.

Actually, it's recommended to have at least two nameservers and to have the nameservers in different IP C-blocks on different physical machines in case one goes down...
