    Hello,

I just moved into a new vps and I've noticed that when I view the 'Top Email Relayers' screen in WHM, there is an entry for a user named 'cpanel' with a blank domain. If I click on that user, I see all of the emails that have been relayed by users who have accounts on various domains on the server.

In the past, each of these users had their relayed emails listed under their respective domains. I'm not sure why this changed, but I am wondering if there are any configuration/security concerns.

Does anyone know why this might be? Any advice appreciated.. thanks, Dave

    Hi,
I think those mails are sent By control panel to your user's contact information save in their cpanel, these e-mails are for disk usage warning, bandwidth, backup notifications, and password resetting if you've enabled it.

    See ya,
    mohit

    actually

ACtually these are emails that were sent by the users, from their desktop email clients, using their email login/pw that they have been assigned in their domains. I'm not sure why they are lumped together like this...

    same problem

Hi. I've got the same problem. I recently moved to a dedicated box. Relayed mail is shown under a cpanel account and i actually see alot of mail that is not displayed in the list.

I have tested and alot of mail that is relayed is not displayed.

I'm wondering if i have a problem with eximstats or exim itself.

    I'm running:

    WHM 10.6.0 cPanel 10.6.0-R158
    CentOS 3.5 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Mail sent using SquirrelMail is sent as the user cpanel. That is most likely what you are seeing.

I tested that and it's actually the reverse! Mail sent from squirrelmail shows normally, mail sent from a mail client using smtp shows under the cpanel acct! Very odd.
