Hi, I am migrating from one server to another, both running cPanel. I have migrated most of the sites, but have a number of Wordpress sites still to move.

Am I able to use the Transfer Tool to move these, and having moved them, will I need to make any changes within the files for them to work on the new server?

    Many thanks

    A

Yes the migration tool will work for wordpress site as well. For any site weather its wordpress or html the first thing you need to make sure is your domain points to new nameservers of the migrated server to get those sites working.

    Hello,

Yes, you can move cPanel accounts with WordPress installations using "WHM >> Transfer Tool". Manual changes are not typically required (other than the DNS changes if you are using new IP addresses). Let us know if you have any additional questions or encounter any difficulties with the transfer.

    Thanks!
